Attention ALL Current OCA Young Professionals Network Members AND first-time YPN Attendees!

SAVE THE DATE! OCA’s Young Professionals Network will be hosting a breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m. to kickoff day one of the Winter Conference on Monday, Dec. 16. Whether you are an inaugural member or attending for the first time, we invite you to join us for this 3rd annual YPN event!

The YP Network is a group of young professionals within the OCA membership that meet quarterly in the northeast Ohio area to network and learn about current industry topics. OCA YPN Groups are also being initiated in Southwest and Columbus areas. The group is excited to host a panel of presenters to discuss the Accelerated Bridge Construction with a case study being presented from a construction/design team about using the slide in bridge process on a Pennsylvania Turnpike project.

Details of the program are:

Accelerated Bridge Construction: A Project Case Study
Program Description: Tim Taylor, President- Heavy Civil Division, Brayman Construction and Walter Wimer, Bridge Engineering Manager, Pennsylvania Turnpike Construction will present on how their teams worked together to implement the slide in bridge process on a Pennsylvania Turnpike Project. Learn about what the process is, why they chose this method and how it benefited the project.

Because the OCA Winter Conference is centrally located in Columbus, this is the perfect opportunity for all young professionals from around the state to join us for breakfast and begin the Conference together! Members of OCA’s Young Professionals Network – and all YP’s from around the state that would like to meet their peers – are invited to join us for this breakfast presentation from 8 to 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec.16.

Registration for this event will be open soon! For more information about the YPN breakfast, contact OCA Director of Chapter Development Melanie Kitchen, [email protected].
